Wild West Equine - A Whole Horse Perspective

Combining gentleness, ethical standards, and evidence-based approaches with an intuitive understanding, is at the heart of my work. 

Raised in a family of veterinarians, horse lovers and riders, my relationship with horses started at a very young age, and has evolved from riding, and training, to hoof care and management with a deep focus on holistic equine health, ethology and emotional well-being.

Grounded in trauma-informed principles and mindfulness, my practice focuses on nervous-system co-regulation and ethical, conscious communication between horse and human taking into consideration all aspects of physical and emotional health. 

Through working with our own herd, as well as with horses, mules, and donkeys in Italy, Hawaii, and Arizona, I recognized the need to expand, and for an approach to dentistry that truly integrates and considers the whole horse, hoof to heart. This need led me to pursue specialized training with world-renowned schools and dentists.

I often collaborate with veterinarians and equine professionals to optimize health from head to toe. I strongly believe that “A circle of influence“ with like minded professionals working together is a powerful asset for a horse, and I welcome collaboration with others. 

Since 2019 I have been a certified as Trust Technique Practitioner and regularly integrate mindfulness in my work, and with our herd. 

I consider this an essential part of working with horses, most especially those with anxiety and previous bad experiences. Each horse is met with kindness, compassion, and respect. 

I am also a hoof care provider, and the co-founder of an equine non-profit dedicated to rehabilitation, and public education on equine welfare. Certified in Holistic Equine Nutrition I am continually advancing in education through ongoing studies on the horse, particularly in dentistry, hoof care, and endocrine challenges. I will always keep learning.
